About Mimi Hwang

Mimi Hwang works as a Commercial/Residential Real Estate Ninja under Shapin and Associates. Associating Mimi with real estate may be new, but she brings the same tenacity and mental toughness in being a Master in Taekwondo, to the real estate table. She will successfully guide you through the process of purchasing, selling or leasing real estate in Louisville. Mimi can be reached at: 502-818-0111 or MiandYouVentures@gmail.com.

While she’s not on her real estate ventures, Mimi brings her sense of entrepreneurship and business operations to Mobile MD. She met Dr. Jenkins in November 2018 and they talked about working together. Mobile MD was born during COVID, where both of them had to look at the adaptation of the future of healthcare. They are both dedicated to nurturing and growing the business to great success.

Mimi Hwang served as Director of Operations for all three Hwang’s Martial Arts locations in Louisville, Kentucky. Mimi attended San Jose State University in California and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. As Director of Operations, Mimi was responsible for event planning, public relations, student enrollment/retention, marketing, legal, and human resources throughout all of Hwang's Martial Arts. Mimi places a high priority on ensuring that all of Hwang's Martial Arts facilities operate in the most efficient and cohesive manner possible.

Since she was a small child, Mimi has always been passionately involved in the local community charitable scene. By following examples set by her parents, Mimi has not only continued the charitable efforts for Hwang's Martial Arts but has heightened it to another level.  Mimi is currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Children's Hospital Foundation.  Other than the commitment to Norton Children's Hospital, Mimi is involved in other community service initiatives throughout the year. She has helped keep the highways clean by participating in the Adopt a Highway program through Hwang’s Martial Arts. Mimi's charitable efforts extend to WHAS Crusade for Children, Service for Peace, Wayside Christian Mission, Kentucky Harvest, Kentucky Humane Society, and the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation.

Mimi has been recognized for all her community enrichment efforts, including the “Young Philanthropist of the Year” by the AFP Greater Louisville Chapter and awarded #1 in Education via the We Care Awards by Republic Bank.  Mimi has been featured in various media articles throughout her career and she was featured as the FACES of Louisville through Style Blueprint
